Lanzarote is a volcanic island with a great temperature all year and with some spots and corners that make it an ideal place to enjoy some unforgettable days on the beach and relax, all without giving up visit places that I unrepeatable other parts of the globe. Many of these corners are the work of Cesar Manrique, now deceased, but his legacy lives on in the spirit of preservation of the island.

In this section I want to share with you photos I made of the must see places on the island, which I hope will captivate you in the same way they have done for me and that are:

Protected natural area of the Papagayo Beaches and Playa Mujeres. Undoubtedly the best beaches in Lanzarote. Of fine white sand and crystal waters, some of which naturists, with spectacular scenery with incredible ocean floor. Just 10 minutes by car. Do not fail to go to the bar by the beach of Papagayo.
Las Salinas de Janubio, installation hundred years in the sea salt which is made of high quality craftsman in the traditional manner. Stunning colors that takes water and salt in their different stages of evaporation.
The natural area of Los Hervideros where the fury with which the waves break has caused some truly spectacular rock formations.
Charco de los Clicos, corner of incredible beauty famous for its green water lake and released worldwide in Pedro Almodovar's film "Broken Embraces".
El Golfo. Small fishing village with black sand beaches dotted with olivine, semiprecious stone indigenous to the island, where you can enjoy a meal at different restaurants with terrace by the sea. Stunning sunsets over the sea horizon.
Timanfaya National Park. You can ride a camel and visit the Mountain of Fire, a place with volcanic activity still latent, with its spectacular run on "bus" between the volcanoes. You may eat in the restaurant work of Cesar Manrique.
La Geria. Area vineyards draw a curious landscape. Here are produced the superb dry white wine Malvasia variety, little known but exquisite taste. Do not fail to try. Several wineries offer guided tours to see the winemaking process. To highlight the sweet wine that is produced, one of them, Status, awarded "best sweet wine in the world" in a contest held in 2009 in France.
Caleta de Famara. Beach par excellence for Lanzarote, where the towering cliffs reach the sea. Ideal place for surfing.
Mirador del Rio Spectacular views over the cliffs work of Cesar Manrique and offers breathtaking views over the island of Graciosa.

Cueva de los Verdes, of volcanic formation. Curious underground lava cave.
Jameos del Agua. Cesar Manrique also created. To highlight the underground lake, inhabited by a variety of crab is unique in the world.
Cesar Manrique Foundation, home where he lived. Spectacular integration of a dwelling in nature.
In short, these are the most significant, but there's more. In fact, after numerous trips to the island, every time I return I find one again.
